JACKSONVILLE, FL – Sweetlax Lacrosse is excited to announce that John Galloway, Jacksonville University Head Coach, and his staff will be launching the Phins, a new Sweetlax Regional Program positioned to serve the North Florida lacrosse community.
As Director of the Phins, Galloway will work closely with Hunter Forbes, Phins Program Coordinator, the rest of his JU staff and additional local coaches. Together, they will oversee the formation of regional club teams while, while launching programming to serve the growing player development needs in North Florida.

We are excited to team up with Sweetlax in launching the Phins Regional Program as Sweetlax Florida continues to spread the game throughout the state.’
Sweetlax Florida is coming off a breakout year on the national club circuit. US Club Lacrosse has ranked Sweetlax Florida as the 7th best club program in the country, the #1 program in the south region and #1 program in the state of Florida. Galloway and his staff will help continue the growth of Sweetlax’s regional model for local player development while having a positive impact on the greater Jacksonville lacrosse community.

Galloway will be joined by other local coaches and his Jacksonville staff, most notably Hunter Forbes, Phins Program Coordinator, and assistants Ryan Liebel, Tyler Granelli all of whom are excited to work with the young local talent.
